The Complex, a book by John Duignan about his time in the Church of Scientology, is no longer available from Amazon.co.uk. The author claims that Scientology have targeted the website, although he rejects suggestions that actor Tom Cruise, the controversial church's best-known member, was directly responsible. "This is a tactic that has worked for Scientology before," Duignan told Newstalk, and he revealed that the book's Irish publishers, Merlin, received a solicitor's letter that contained an "implied threat".
